David Austin Rose

David Austin Rose I never thought a concrete and brick room smaller than a small car would be the thing that got me excited of a morning, but recently we inherited a shed. What can I say? My life has been transformed.

The art of DIY shelving, previously unknown in these parts, has transformed the little cavernous space into a useful and practical workroom. Vases lined up in a row, tools hanging in their silhouetted outlines on the wall. Very satisfying.

On early market mornings, it has a little window that provides the perfect amount of light for moody photos.

And by far the best part: I can drop leaves on the floor and no-one cares.
